WHAT IS EARNING TO LEARN
“Earning to Learn” is a distinctive initiative by the (H)Ours Count organization. It was conceived to bridge the gaps in the conventional educational system and prevent students from dropping out due to lack of adequate support and incentives.
This unique after-school program goes beyond academic support and pays students for their active participation, encouraging their commitment towards their education. It’s designed to comprehensively prepare students for success in all facets of their lives, encapsulating physical wellness, academic growth, and social-emotional well-being.
At the heart of “Earning to Learn” lies a focus on teaching essential life skills. These encompass career development, workplace readiness, money management, and the cultivation of a healthy lifestyle. The aim is to nurture strong bodies, minds, and spirits, aiding students in unlocking their full potential.
The program is beginning operations at Weeki Wachee High School, our ambition is to extend its reach to all school sites across Hernando County. You can support this valuable cause through donations, volunteering, or sponsorship. By supporting “Earning to Learn”, you are investing in a brighter, stronger future for our students.
